• Fixed Custom Grid Resizing: Resizing a widget in "Custom" arrangement mode now accurately detects neighboring items. Instead of overlapping or jumping to a different row, it will smoothly expand in-place or shift into available empty space on the left.

• Improved Instant Dashboard Startup: The Weather widget now fetches forecasts asynchronously in the background. Opening a new tab on a clean install or after cache expiration mounts your grid, dock, and widgets in milliseconds instead of waiting for remote network calls.
• Fixed Live Spotlight Editing: Editing or customizing a bookmark directly from Spotlight search results now updates the live result card in real time, keeping your active search query and keyboard focus intact.
• Fixed Two-Way Bookmark & Dock Sync: Default dock and grid bookmarks are now automatically mapped and synced to your browser's native Bookmarks Bar with smart URL deduplication. Dragging dock items into folders or merging them no longer causes race conditions or duplicate entries.
• Fixed Nested Folder Syncing: Enhanced the bookmark export engine to resolve folder hierarchies level-by-level, ensuring deeply nested subfolders and their links are placed in their exact matching parent locations in your browser.

Custom grid layout, drag-and-drop physics, and internal URL support

• New Custom Grid Arrangement: Break free from the auto-flowing grid. Enable "Custom" arrangement in the Dashboard settings to place icons and widgets exactly where you want them, leaving empty spaces wherever you like. The layout intelligently reflows to adapt to your window size.
• New Internal Browser URLs: You can now bookmark internal browser pages (like chrome://downloads or edge://settings). They automatically receive beautiful system icons.
• New Live Overlay Peek: Click and hold the darkened background on Settings or any other overlay to temporarily hide it and instantly preview your dashboard layout and theme, releasing to return right where you left off.
• Improved Drag-and-Drop Physics: Completely rebuilt the drag-and-drop motion engine. Moving large widgets no longer causes adjacent items to jump or teleport, dropped items feature a smooth spring-back landing animation, and dragging to the edge of the screen activates fluid, time-based auto-scrolling.
• Improved Weather Geocoding: Upgraded the location search to handle highly specific queries better (e.g., searching "London, UK" or "Paris, Texas" now immediately yields accurate results).

Sync completeness and dashboard polish

• Fixed Editing or moving a default bookmark or folder could leave it unsynced with the browser.
• Fixed Emptying a synced system folder (like Other Bookmarks) could leave a stray empty tile on the dashboard.
• Fixed Bookmark icons could flicker in one at a time on some devices when the dashboard loads.

Bookmark sync, custom icon, and daily rollover fixes

• Fixed Refresh Icons could delete custom bookmark icons instead of only refreshing auto-fetched ones.
• Fixed Syncing could fail when editing or deleting a folder linked to one of your browser's built-in bookmark folders (like Other Bookmarks).
• Fixed Daily Wallpaper, Daily Quote, and Daily Goal could change at the wrong time, fall out of sync with the actual day, or drift across multiple tabs — now handled consistently based on the local date.

Spotlight search menus

• New Right-click a bookmark, folder, or widget directly in Spotlight search results to edit or delete it.

Smoother overlays and drag and drop

• Improved Overlays (Settings, Widget Library, and others) now adapt better to smaller and shorter screens.
• Improved Drag and drop now uses hardware-accelerated positioning for smoother dragging, especially on lower-end devices.

Fixed custom wallpaper uploads

• Fixed Some browsers didn't support the wallpaper or bookmark icon upload dialog. It now uses a more universally supported method.

Readable text on any wallpaper

• Fixed Dashboard text was hard to read on white or light-colored wallpapers. Text color now adapts automatically to stay readable.

Favicon service, custom icons, and bug fixes

• New Favicons now come from our own image service, not a third party.
• New Upload a custom icon for any bookmark.
• New Grid Width slider in settings to resize the dashboard.
• Fixed Widgets could show stale data until you refreshed the tab. Live updates now sync correctly across open tabs.
• Fixed Bookmark sync with the browser could stop working once more than two tabs were open.
• Fixed New bookmarks and widgets could save in the wrong position in a folder, the dock, or the main dashboard.
• Improved Sync and save failures now show a notification instead of failing silently.

Go to Settings → General → Data → Refresh Icons to update bookmark icons to the new service.
